ATTENDANCE
At St Denys, we believe that excellent attendance and punctuality are vital to ensure pupils have the best education possible. We recognise that unless pupils attend school, on time every day, they could be vulnerable to underachievement. We are committed to ensuring that we support pupils and their families to achieve this through strong communication and partnership working.
All parents and carers have a statutory duty to ensure their child attends school on time each day. The school also has a statutory duty to support pupils in attending regularly and taking swift action where pupils attendance is of concern. Our Attendance Policy below sets out the school's expectations and the procedures we follow to maintain good attendance.
