Maths in rainbow is a mixture of "Mastery of Number", "Shape Space and Measure" and a little bit of help from the Number Blocks
Autumn term: the children are exploring the numbers 1-5, they are learning about the amount, the number formation, odd and even, one more , one less and finding out that by using their subitising skills they dont need to count, they can trust the pattern formations to help them know the answers.
